"Packers Comedy Night at the Ballpark"
"The night will be filled with hilarious stories, belly-aching laughs, and great fun." -Bryn Smith
"Packers Comedy Night at the Ballpark" is the theme for the team's fundraising dinner event.
The event will include fantastic tales and memorable moments of baseball told by those who
created them, autograph session, "Kangaroo Court", Q & A session, raffle of numerous
prizes, and live auction of 5 luxury travel and superb entertainment items.
The event will be held Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the Santa Maria Country Club.

 Plans for the 2009 season have gotten underway and the Packers are excited about their second season. The Packers had a successful inaugural season in 2008 and will build upon that success in 2009. The Santa Maria Valley Packers have been accepted into the California Collegiate League and will look forward to playing a competitve schedule.
